We want to see a world, where emotional well-being is experienced holistically, and not just as a ‘mental disease’. We dream of healing environments where every person uses their capacity to make choices, heal themselves, recover, and move on. Recovery methods will be creative, non-violent, non-hazardous, and playful.
The Bapu Foundation (BF) aims to make training a core competency, ensuring inclusivity and accessibilit for diverse groups, including cross-disability, indigenous, tribal, LGBTQ, and those in conflict or disaster situations. By focusing on the inclusion of persons with psychosocial disabilities, BF revolutionizes psychosocial support, wellness, and disability-inclusive development. It leads to the creation of curriculum, educational materials, and online platforms. Additionally, BF mentors training teams and partners, fostering a new discourse on psychosocial well-being and disability inclusion and setting new standards for inclusive and accessible environments for all.
