Saswad Project

Bapu Foundation was registered in July 2021 with the intention to have sustainable futures and expand the vision and mission of the Bapu Trust further in rural areas, to bring in values of disability inclusion, environment, quality of life and living, and livelihoods. The core objectives of the organization are to promote various aspects related to studies on nourishing life and living, learning and trainings, art and culture, biodiversity, healing, environment and community development.

We received a land Donation through a Gift Deed from Van Samudayik Sahkari Sheti Sanstha Ltd., an agriculture based society having presence since last 12-15 years in the Saswad area. With excellent leadership by Ninad Indulkar a scrupulous land records trail has been created with all necessary documentation complete, towards receiving the precious gift.

Land records of the past 50 years and 7×12 etc. were sourced and reviewed by Lex Eye Associates, Pune. NewsPaper Notice was also given. Demarcation has been completed.
Visiting the site is an ongoing process, if you are interested to visit the site, please do get in touch with us. We welcome offers and proposals for joint development of the land, on a shared, long term lease basis. The location is absolutely beautiful, abundant with natural resources and very conducive for environmental, healing, arts, educational, lifelong learning, spiritual and other life affirming activities. Its a perfect setting.

Considering that the Bapu Foundation is a NPO (Non Profit Organization under Section 8 Company), and considering long term sustainability in community and environmental development in the said areas, BF is soliciting the presence of other organizations to join us in developing the area and contributing to local communities.
